Fashion reality TV show Nigeria’s Next Top Designer calls for designers

Nigeria’s Next Top Designer is calling on designer for the season 2 of the reality TV show.


The fashion competition is open for designers to register for the second season.

The Nigeria’s Next Top Designer brand (NNTD)  in her 1st season fulfilled to a large extent her mantra of discovering, engaging, nurturing and preparing the emerging stars of the future, to be self reliant and future employers of labour.

The 2016 showcase has built on the fantastic momentum of the inaugural edition of 2015, which had over 50 highly motivated competitors from around Nigeria compete for the big prize where the first ever winner won a highly competitive showcase and an internship in the US.


The 2nd edition of the highly acclaimed designer competition for emerging stars of the future. Nigeria’s Next Top Designer Competition Season 2 berths powered by AFWL & AFWN.

You can register If you possess any of the following qualities:

1. Creatively inclined to fashion

2. Skilled with using leather/making leather goods

3. Make shoes, bags and more from different materials

4. Good at fashion illustration

5. Skilled in any field in fashion

A prior training (formal or informal) is not required for registration.

Registration is open and once you register, you are immediately registered for an online course with a UK school for a course in pattern cutting valued at 40000 Naira each.

Zina Anumudu is passionate about two things – fashion & branding. Having secured a bachelor’s degree in Economics in The United States, she pursued a masters in a field she was more passionate about, Communication. There after, she relocated to Nigeria and has created a niche market for herself with branding & the Nigerian Fashion Industry in under two years.  She is the Brand Manager of womenswear brand, Maju and was also the Brand Director of fashion & lifestyle website, StyleVitae. In recent times, Zina co-founded a brand management company, The Style Concierge, that caters to creatives & businesses in the fashion & lifestyle industry.


Denola Adeptun (@denolagrey) is a men’s fashion blogger,  style  enthusiast, model and media personality from Nigeria. His style is a major inspiration to fashion lovers across the continent with a very unique and personal taste on his blog. His website derived its name from the combination of his name Adenola (Denola) & E.L Jones’ best-selling novel“Fifty Shades of Grey”. His style is peculiar and he isn’t afraid to try out different style forms whiles staying true to his personal taste and signature looks. Denola has also worked as a PR consultant in New York and a fashion journalist for Magazine amongst other freelance projects.


Oge Agu is a fashion journalist and PR consultant. who helped launch an online fashion blog back in 2014 as a way of expressing her love for all things fashion due to the lack of creativity she endured throughout med-school.
The intent of Kamdora as a website is to create a platform where women can go to in search of relevant content in the Fashion, Beauty and lifestyle space.

A passionate lover of fashion and an even deeper love for laidback and oversized pieces!


Yetty D as she is fondly called is a woman with many hats. From living as a London based fashion designer to laying roots in Lagos as a Fashion and lifestyle brand expert. Join her as she hosts monthly ‘1 Night in Lagos’ series.
